The convenience of having a tabletop toaster is ideal for those of us who have busy lives. But always place it on a fire resistant tray or ceramic platter; your insurance company will love you for that safe practice.
But, when a fast breakfast is the order of the morning a toaster on the table is an asset.
Always turn the toaster off at the wall plug when you've finished your meal.
